On A Whim Designs is a handmade jewellery store that was born in 2011 completely on a whim! Starting small, and with no formal training in jewellery work, I have now made thousands of items over the last few years, and I love the constant learning process involved in bringing new styles and techniques to my range. From pretty and feminine, to retro and contemporary , On A Whim Designs delights in making pieces full of quirky individuality and love.

As well as designing and making jewellery for On A Whim, I also work on the family farm with my husband in the SW of WA. I have 4 adult children – one who works on the farm with us and the other 3 working/studying in Perth. My other passion – apart from creating jewellery – is singing barbershop with my chorus, A Cappella West, in Perth.
